you know how hair carries memories and geto's different hairstyles symbolise different phases of his life, tying directly with his own beliefs and attachment to life? how he wears his hair in a bun when he's young and (almost) carefree but as soon as the tragic events happen during hidden inventory arc he lets go of the bun completely, wearing his hair down? how from the moment he decides the ill-fated path he wants to take he chooses to wear his hair half-up and half-down? then he shows up, a decade later, and he uses his hair in the same hairstyle but longer than it has ever been. all of this to say, yuuta cut geto's hair by decapitating kenjaku. and maybe it's not that deep but it's almost like finally breaking free from being used as a puppet and commiting to death is what allows the return of his younger self. which goes hand in hand with the self-destructive mission he hanged onto for the time between his defection and his death...

the thing is that childhood doesn't just end when you turn 18 or when you turn 21. it's going to end dozens of times over. your childhood pet will die. actors you loved in movies you watched as a kid will die. your grandparents will die, and then your parents will die. it's going to end dozens and dozens of times and all you can do is let it. all you can do is stand in the middle of the grocery store and stare at freezers full of microwave pizza because you've suddenly been seized by the memory of what it felt like to have a pizza party on the last day of school before summer break. which is another ending in and of itself

Ive said this before but swear the biggest skill to learn as an adult is how to resist high-pressure sales tactics. You do NOT have to answer questions with anything other than "Sorry I'm not interested." No matter how nice they are or no matter how many follow up questions they ask or even how agitated they get when you stand your ground. Just keep saying I'm not interested. Don't answer their questions. Don't give them an opening to try to push back on your reasons. Be a fucking brick wall of I'm not interested.

please i love you i'm begging you bring back suspension of disbelief bring back trusting the audience like. i cannot handle any more dialogue that sounds like a legal document. "thank you, i am unwell because the incident was hurtful to me due to my childhood, which was bad." I CANT!!!!

do you know how many people are mad that authors use "growled" as a word for "said"? it's just poetics! they do not literally mean "growled," it's just a common replacement for "said with force but in a low tone." it's normal! do you hear me!! help me i love you please let me out of here!!!
